What is an Amazing Adventure Hunt?

Part scavenger hunt, part outdoor escape room, and all FUN. Organize a team of 2-5 people and join us for one of our upcoming hunts. Cost is only $50 per team, making this an extremely affordable outing. Bring your walking shoes and thinking caps as you compete against the clock and other teams, following cryptic clues and answering questions asking the way.

Explore Downtown Sanford like you never have before. Discover hidden places and fun oddities. Amazing Adventure Hunts are appropriate for ages 9-99. Each team must have at least one responsible person over the age of 18.

How does it work?

We start all teams in staggered intervals at a starting location, and provide them with a clipboard and written directions with questions to answer along the way. Teams are racing against the clock to be the most efficient to finish. But accuracy is important! Each incorrect answer adds a minute to the team's time. Answers are checked at the finish location.

Do you do corporate events or private parties?

What do I need to bring?

We recommend comfortable walking shoes, water, a hat, a smartphone, and sunscreen. Everything else is provided.

How long does each Hunt last?

The goal for teams is to finish in under 90 minutes, but we've had teams finish in less than 70. If a team starts to get past the 2 hour mark, we'll begin to check in on them to see if they are doing okay, and want to continue.

Where do we start?

Currently, our Hunts start at either Magnolia Square or in front of the Sanford Welcome Center (230 E 1st St), depending on which Hunt you choose. We will notify you of the starting location at the time of your booking.

Where does it end?

We don't want to give any spoilers here, but be assured that every Hunt will end within 5-6 blocks of your starting location.

What if it rains?

Rainchecks will be provided in the event of inclement weather.
